Since I’d been the one to make first contact with Pack Alvarez, I took it upon myself to call them again, only this time with the news that their precious daughter was no longer available to be used and abused at their whim. She was officially the omega of Pack Rivera and would forever be under our protection.

Bain sat in a chair across from my desk, both of us doing our best to ignore the hormones and pheromones floating in the air or the occasional moans echoing down the stairs.

“If I’m not mistaken, she’s not your only daughter. She’s your only omega daughter,” Bain said, raising his brows as he met my eyes.

We’d done plenty of research on the entire family before we’d bothered with our little mission. In fact, Cohl had been the one tasked with surveillance, of learning the routines of the entire family and their guards, of monitoring Corazon’s outings. She was never without at least two armed guards any time she left the Alvarez property.

But even with so much security, no one had been any wiser to the fact someone had been not only trespassing and taking pictures of the property – and of Corazon – but had been following her around.

Fuck. No wonder Cohl had been absolutely obsessed with her from the beginning. He’d seen her dozens of times before the day we’d ambushed the convoy. He had followed her and tracked her every movement for long enough to develop fantasies around the sexy omega.

“We gave you options. You chose to ignore those options. And that little pack you chose to gift Corazon to told us outright they have too many choices to waste on one person. Great parenting, there, by the way,” Ford said, smirking at me. He was baiting the alphas of Pack Alvarez.

Honestly, they definitely deserved more than a little baiting for blatantly disregarding their daughter’s safety and happiness.
